As a former School Superintendent and having taught Authorware, Director and Captivate for a number of years, David Burnham ACI one of the principles of Harper Burnham has developed a course that recognizes the importance of having a range of skills to develop engaging eLearning content.

The eLearning Developer Program is a 3 day program that integrates the various components of Adobe eLearning Suite into a single learning experience. The focus of the program is the use of Adobe Captivate augmented with training on other Adobe tools from the eLearning Suite (Photoshop, Flash, Audition, Acrobat). Upon completion of the program Instructional Designers, Instructional Content Creators and Trainers will be able to develop much more engaging eLearning content using this range of Adobe tools.

Duration: 3 days, 9:00 am - 4:00 pm

Adobe Captivate 9.0 eLearning Essentials

Adobe Captivate 9.0

This course introduces users to Adobe Captivate. The course is designed to take participants through the development process of building software demonstrations and interactive simulations. The course is task-based, with participants learning by recording and updating projects. Along with covering the key features of Captivate, the course focuses on best practices to record Captivate projects.

Audience
The audience for this course is beginning and intermediate Adobe Captivate users who want to create software demonstrations and interactive simulations. Adobe Captivate appeals to a wide variety of audiences, typically grouped in training and education, sales and marketing, or technical support and documentation.

  • Creating Graphics with Photoshop

Adobe Premiere CC2017/ Adobe Media Encode

  • Creating videos
  • Creating flash video from other video file formats
  • Working with Adobe Media Encoder
  • Inserting video into Captivate

Adobe Audition CC2017 Sound Editing

  • Editing sound in Audtion
  • Editing and Cleaning UP sound from Captivate
  • Adding special effects
  • Creating loops
